We chose Évora for our 2027 conference because this is a truly magical year for the city: Évora is officially the European Capital of Culture. The entire region is alive with art, creativity, and the celebration of new ideas.

But there is an even deeper reason why we brought you here. In this region, there is a beautiful local philosophy called 'Vagar'. 'Vagar' is the art of living slowly—the art of taking your time to reflect, listen deeply, and truly connect with others. In a world that moves so fast, we wanted our conference to share this spirit. We want this to be a space to think together, share ideas, and enjoy the incredible local food, wines, and the famous Portuguese hospitality.

Alternatively, you can take the subway from the Airport to Gare do Oriente train station (2 stops) , where you can take a direct train or bus to Évora.
